New World Order

1912 New World Order

Released on February 1st 2016, on the Monty Maggot label.

This album was released as a DOUBLE CD set, with the second CD featuring some amazing new music by Lee Potts and Omenopus, all based on original 1912 tracks.
We hesitate to use the term "remix" because these pieces of music go so much further than that term implies. "Re-imagining" is a more accurate description, as Lee weaves the new tracks together with specially-recorded narration to form a compelling science fiction story, which also manages to link into some of the themes of the main NWO album. It's called "The Hybrid Project".

A sampling from reviews from Amazon.co.uk:

"'Elegy' showcases the quite exceptional talent of a great Birmingham rock band (of which there is a rich and proud tradition)."

". . .this is music of the highest quality. Fans of the aforementioned bands as well as Marillion, Gazpacho or any modern progressive music will be well served here."

"The scope and imagination of the instrumentation on this album has reached spectacular heights, almost stellar proportions."

Gary Parsons at Freq has written a very positive and insightful review on his site:
www.freq.org.uk/reviews/nineteentwelve-waiting

"1912’s “Please Take Me Away From Here” has lilting piano that hits a more prog rock vein and reminded me of recent releases by Opeth in its execution and has a wonderful Gilmoresque guitar solo."
